7 Best Brevo Alternatives in 2026 (Review & Comparison)

Testing and reviewing email marketing software, I get to watch platforms evolve. When I first used Brevo, it was a simple email marketing tool. These days, it has transactional emails, sales pipelines, and customer loyalty.

Brevo is a favourite here at Email Vendor Selection. We like how user-friendly it is. Its excellent free plan has 100,000 contacts and 300 emails a day.

But no marketing software is the perfect fit for everyone. I’ve used Brevo both as a reviewer and professionally. It can do a lot, but it’s stronger in some areas than others. Maybe you’re looking for more automation power. Or if you don’t think Brevo fits your sales needs. Read on, and I’ll help you pick your ideal Brevo alternative.

7 Best Brevo Alternatives Overview

There are lots of low-cost, simple-to-use email marketing platforms on the market. For my top 7 Brevo alternatives, I’ve picked different platforms that are most commonly compared in multiple use cases. Here’s our quick summary:

Brevo’s Drawbacks

Brevo does a lot well. But as a user, there are several areas where you might wonder if other platforms offer more. The main gaps are email templates, ecommerce features, CRM features, advanced automation, and creator monetization tools.

Ecommerce features

Brevo connects to major ecommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce. It tracks your store and feeds customer behaviour data into automated campaigns. But ecommerce-specific tools like product recommendations are only available on the expensive Professional plan.

Best alternatives: Omnisend is the strongest ecommerce-specific platform for small online retailers. You can import product listings and discount codes into emails, and make personalized product recommendations. Klaviyo suits larger ecommerce businesses that want deeper customer insights, segmentation, and predictive analytics.  ActiveCampaign and GetResponse make more sense when you need more complex automation around browsing and purchase behaviour.

Customer relationship management (CRM)

Brevo has a sales CRM. It adds leads from marketing campaigns into pipelines. Teams can track interactions as they nurture leads towards making a purchase. It works well for small businesses. But larger businesses with more CRM needs may want to consider other email and CRM providers. It doesn’t, for example, have account-based management (ABM) features. Its sales attribution tools are basic.

Best alternatives: HubSpot is the stronger CRM platform. It has lead scoring, advanced reporting, sales automation, customer data tools, and deeper pipelines while still including email marketing. ActiveCampaign is the better fit if your priority is marketing automation with sales CRM.

Advanced Automation

Brevo’s email marketing automation features are quite advanced. You can build workflows with multiple entry points and conditions. Its visual workflow builder is great to use, even for beginners. So it’s perhaps harsh to list automation as a ‘drawback’. But users with more complex customer journeys find Brevo’s automations limiting. And it only has 12 basic pre-built workflow templates for beginners.

Best alternative: ActiveCampaign is the best marketing automation platform around for SMBs and growing businesses. It has 1000+ workflow templates and a visual automation builder that handles complex customer journeys without becoming difficult to follow.

Creator tools

Creators use email as a sales channel for paid newsletter subscriptions, podcasts, webinars, and courses. Email marketing software provides tools like subscription forms, list management, and automated emails. But to sell digital products, you need ways to create and take payments. Brevo doesn’t have any way to list products. It has a tool to create checkout links so you can take payments. But they’re not linked to any kind of fulfillment. It lacks dedicated flows for promoting digital sales and subscriptions.

Best alternatives: MailerLite supports paid newsletter subscriptions, ebook and digital downloads, and coaching sessions. You can build a website to host your digital products on. And accept and manage payments in the app. Beehiiv lets you monetize a newsletter through subscriptions, paid recommendations, advertising, and sponsorships.

What to look for in a Brevo alternative

For a Brevo alternative, you want a platform that plugs the gaps that matter to you. Here are the main features to focus on.

  • Email templates: The priority here is design quality and how easy templates are to customize. Start an account and check that the platform has templates for how you use emails.
  • Ecommerce features: If you run an online store, pay particular attention to ecommerce support. Look for direct plug-ins to your ecommerce platform. Prioritise features like product content blocks, recommendations and discount codes.
  • Advanced automation and CRM tools: Brevo does a good job of automating multichannel messaging. But you might want to automate other actions like contact tagging, segmentation and lead scoring. Brevo only makes sales automation features available at a very high price, too
  • Personalization and segmentation: Segmentation lets you target who receives campaigns. Dynamic content lets you change what each group sees within individual emails. Look for tools that let you group contacts by their interests, email engagement and buying behaviour. Check how easily you can combine these criteria and whether segments update automatically.
  • Data analytics: Check what reporting offers beyond basic open and click metrics. The most useful email marketing analytics tell you things like which links generate the most traffic. Or how long recipients spend reading an email after opening. If you run an online store, check how the platform attributes purchases to email activity. This is essential for measuring conversions and how much revenue email marketing campaigns generate.
  • Monetization tools: If you’re looking to make money with email marketing, you need payment and sales features. It also helps if you can make your digital product listings on the same platforms. Whether that’s newsletters, webinars, courses, or coaching sessions. If you don’t have a website, the option to build one to host your products helps.
  • The right cost structure: Brevo’s pricing rises with your monthly email send limit but you get lots of contacts on all plans. So it’s great if you have a big list but don’t send huge volumes of emails. The more emails you send, the less value Brevo gives you. Many alternatives give you unlimited emails and charge by number of contacts.
  • Integrations: Brevo has 150 native plug-ins to third-party platforms. Beyond that, it relies on Zapier or its API to connect to other apps. Check how the platform fits your wider email marketing strategy and the tools already in your stack.

7 Best Brevo Alternatives

Omnisend – Best Brevo Alternative for Ecommerce Marketing

Omnisend ecommerce email marketing platform

Omnisend is an email and SMS marketing platform for web stores. Most modern email marketing services have optional integrations with ecommerce platforms. Omnisend is different because you have to connect an online store to use it.

Features that make Omnisend a good Brevo alternative:

  • Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Wix integrations
  • 350+ sales-focused email templates
  • Product listings and personalized recommendations in emails
  • Automation templates for abandoned carts and retargeting
  • Customer lifecycle mapping with recommendations for customer segments

Omnisend has 350+ email templates that lean heavily towards product promotions and sales events. Its email editor is intuitive to use, with lots of pre-made content blocks. This includes product blocks that automatically pull listing details and images from your store.

Its 33 automation templates are similarly ecommerce-specific. It has several abandoned cart workflows. And more for retargeting customers with discounts and other incentives.

Omnisend also makes much more use of store behaviour than Brevo. Browsing and purchase activity power 20+ automation triggers, segmentation, and workflow conditions. You can build workflows to message customers as they browse. Omnisend uses tracking data to build segments and create conditional filters in workflows.

Brevo can connect to a store and use browsing data in campaigns. Omnisend builds more of the email experience around selling products. Its product picker pulls listings directly into emails with a buy button, while dynamic recommendations use customer behaviour to personalize what each contact sees.

Omnisend has a Customer Lifecycle Map. It tracks interactions to rank each customer in a lifecycle stage. Then it recommends activities to push them towards conversion. Omnisend creates discount codes that automatically apply at your store’s checkout. That way, you can incentivize sales directly through your campaigns.

Omnisend Pros

  • Marketing tools designed specifically for ecommerce.
  • Intuitive and affordable for smaller online stores.
  • Customer data powers automation, targeting, and personalization.
  • Ecommerce integrations support personalized recommendations and discount codes.
  • Free plan includes access to all features.

Omnisend Cons

  • Doesn’t have checkout on landing pages.
  • It’s only available in English.

Omnisend’s free plan includes all features, 250 contacts, and 500 emails. The Standard plan starts at $11.20 per user per month if you pay for 3 months. You get 6,000 emails and 500 contacts. To unlock SMS marketing features, you need the Pro plan starting at $41.30 for the same payment structure. That comes with unlimited emails and 2,500 contacts.

MailerLite – Best Brevo Alternative for Practical Email Marketing

MailerLite email marketing

MailerLite is a straightforward, user-friendly email marketing platform. While Brevo has evolved into a more complete marketing platform, MailerLite has stuck to its roots. Its combination of simplicity and low cost has attracted more than 1 million users.

Features that make MailerLite a good Brevo alternative:

  • 100+ email templates
  • Convenient drag-and-drop email editor and automation builder
  • Unlimited landing pages and signup forms
  • Website builder and blogging tools
  • Paid-for newsletters and digital product sales

MailerLite’s intuitive interface is one of the main reasons it works so well for beginners. Attractive email templates cover most common use cases. Then you customize them with the drag-and-drop editor. The same goes for its landing page builder and automations. MailerLite’s visual workflow builder is easy to use. But you’re not just setting up timed sequences. You can use contact actions to trigger sending. And add conditions to branch workflows based on behavior.

MailerLite is popular with creators and digital start-ups as an alternative to Substack. You can run newsletter subscriptions and sell digital product downloads and coaching sessions. Its Stripe-powered checkout tool means you can earn directly.

MailerLite isn’t a multichannel marketing and communication platform like Brevo. It doesn’t have a CRM or sales tools. It only supports email, with no SMS, WhatsApp, or push notifications. That doesn’t matter if you only need to send emails. MailerLite has a strong reputation for email deliverability. It uses the email sending infrastructure of sister platform MailerSend. You can use the MailerCheck email verification tool as a paid add-on to clean your list.

MailerLite is more generous with its lead generation and list growth features. You can build sign-up forms in Brevo. But on its Standard plan, you can only build one landing page to host a form on. MailerLite’s Comfort plan includes 10 landing pages, 10 forms, and 3 users.

MailerLite Pros

  • Simple and affordable, with more generous usage limits than Brevo.
  • Excellent email deliverability and native list hygiene tools.
  • Creator-friendly features like newsletter monetization and website builder.
  • Multiple user seats on all plans make it ideal for small teams.
  • 24/7 live chat and email support.

MailerLite Cons

  • Email only. It doesn’t have multiple channels, like SMS or WhatsApp.
  • It’s missing website tracking. You can trigger automation based on page visits with Brevo.

MailerLite has a free plan with 250 contacts, 2,500 emails, and 3 automations. The Comfort plan starts at $10.80 a month if you pay annually. This includes 5,000 emails a month and 500 subscribers.

Moosend – Best Value Brevo Alternative for SMBs

Moosend email marketing

Moosend is a budget-friendly email marketing service aimed at small businesses. The low starting price doesn’t mean it’s basic. Moosend includes automation, segmentation, tracking, dynamic content, and product recommendations. With plans starting at $7 per month.

Features that make Moosend a good Brevo alternative:

  • 115 email templates & drag-and-drop editor
  • Visual automation builder with 32 triggers and 30 yes/no conditions
  • Website tracking for segmentation and personalization
  • AI product recommendations for web stores
  • One affordable pricing plan with automation, web tracking, A/B testing, and personalization

The automation builder is better than I expected at this price. Moosend’s visual builder has 32 triggers and 30 yes/no conditions. There’s enough here for more than basic welcome and abandoned-cart flows. The colour-coded steps also help when a workflow includes conditions. Website activity can trigger automations, move contacts into segments, and change the content they see in emails. Brevo also has many of these features, but some are only available on more expensive plans.

Moosend has native integrations for ecommerce platforms, like WooCommerce and Magento. And you can connect Shopify via Zapier. You can track what your contacts are browsing and buying and use this data to build segments. Moosend can use browsing and purchase data to recommend products to individual contacts. You can also pull products straight into an email rather than building each product block manually.

Moosend is better value than Brevo as you send more emails. Brevo gives you unlimited contacts. But the cost goes up in tiers as you send more emails. Moosend does it the other way round, so you always get unlimited emails. Moosend has a single pricing tier, too. You get key tools like automation, web tracking, and A/B testing on the very lowest entry price. Brevo’s cheapest Starter plan doesn’t include these features.

Moosend Pros

  • Low starting price with most features and unlimited email sends.
  • Strong automation for the price.
  • Website tracking and dynamic personalization
  • Ecommerce features like AI product recommendations.

Moosend Cons

  • No free plan.
  • Email only, no SMS or multichannel campaigns.

Moosend has a 30-day free trial with all Pro features. Prices start at $7 per user per month if you pay annually. This gives you 500 contacts, unlimited emails, and all email marketing tools.

ActiveCampaign – Best Brevo Alternative for Advanced Marketing Automation

ActiveCampaign marketing automation platform

ActiveCampaign is a marketing automation and CRM software platform. Like Brevo, it started as a straightforward email marketing platform. But it’s undoubtedly best known today as an automation specialist.

Features that make ActiveCampaign a good Brevo alternative:

  • 900+ automation workflow templates.
  • 240+ email templates.
  • Advanced CRM and sales pipeline tools.
  • Active Intelligence AI
  • 1,000+ integrations.

Email is still ActiveCampaign’s main messaging channel. It has 240+ email templates and a great drag-and-drop email builder. But its take on automation goes far beyond putting a few emails in a sequence. It can automate entire customer journeys and takes a lot of the complexity out of it. Its 1,000+ automation templates cover most scenarios you can think of. The workflow editor is the most flexible I’ve ever used. Its Active Intelligence AI can build campaigns and workflows from prompts. Then it continually optimizes them based on performance.

ActiveCampaign uses website, ecommerce, CRM, and campaign activity throughout its automations. It works best when you connect it to a website or online store. ActiveCampaign tracks user behavior. It uses this data to trigger automations and target activity. Its CRM uses it for lead scoring, win probability, and revenue attribution.

ActiveCampaign makes more sense once Brevo’s automation starts limiting what you can build. It supports longer journeys with more branches, behavioural triggers, lead scoring, CRM actions, and revenue attribution. For example, ActiveCampaign is much better for automating handoffs between marketing and sales teams. You can do things like use lead scores as a trigger for creating new deals or tasks for sales reps. In Brevo, marketing and sales automation run separately.

ActiveCampaign is a stronger choice than Brevo for sales-focused teams overall. Brevo’s CRM is useful for basic lead and deal tracking. ActiveCampaign’s CRM is much more data- and intelligence-led. A good example is that it uses AI to calculate win probability for every deal. ActiveCampaign is stronger for ecommerce brands with more complex customer journeys. Its 1000+ integrations include Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Square, Magento, Stripe, and PayPal.

ActiveCampaign Pros

  • Advanced automation for complex customer journeys.
  • Strong sales CRM and ecommerce features.
  • AI tools for building and optimizing campaigns and workflows.
  • In-depth customer behaviour tracking provides the data for advanced analytics and targeting.
  • 1,000+ integrations.

ActiveCampaign Cons

  • More complex than Brevo for beginners.
  • Doesn’t have a free plan.

ActiveCampaign has a 14-day free trial. Pricing starts at $15 a month if you pay annually. The Starter plan includes 1,000 contacts, 10,000 emails, email campaigns, 5 actions per automation, forms, site tracking, and the CRM.

HubSpot – Best Brevo Alternative for Customer Relationship Management

HubSpot CRM customer platform

HubSpot is a flexible customer platform with users ranging from start-ups, growing companies, and large enterprises. It has ‘hubs’ for sales, marketing, customer service, content management, data, and revenue. You can get the full platform or pick and choose features you want for a more tailored version.

Features that make HubSpot a good Brevo alternative:

  • Full CRM platform
  • Marketing tools for email, ad, social, and SEO campaigns
  • Flexible sales pipelines and advanced sales automation
  • Breeze AI agents
  • 2,000+ app integrations

HubSpot handles most core marketing and sales tasks. You can run email campaigns, manage social posts and ads, work on SEO, and build sales pipelines. In our testing, the automation builder stood out. It lets you combine CRM data, contact activity, lead scoring, internal tasks, and follow-ups in the same workflows. Data capture and analytics follows contacts across marketing, sales and service. HubSpot also has a well-developed set of AI agents prospect research, content creation, data analysis, and handling repetitive marketing and sales tasks.

I’d choose HubSpot when the CRM is the reason you’re shopping for a new platform. Customer data is at the center of its marketing, sales, service, and reporting tools. A contact’s activity can follow them from the first website visit through to a closed deal. Brevo is the better-value choice if you mainly need multichannel campaigns and a simpler sales pipeline.

HubSpot is a better fit for larger companies. It’s popular with B2B suppliers, large agencies, and growing SaaS businesses. But HubSpot also has an outstanding free CRM that is perfect for start-ups. In terms of features, it’s about on a par with Brevo’s also excellent free tier. The main difference is that you can grow a lot further with HubSpot. Brevo’s focus remains on multichannel messaging. HubSpot also has social media management, advertising, and advanced sales tools.

HubSpot Pros

  • Build-your-own CRM with tools for the full customer journey.
  • Most parts are easy to use, and the interface is straightforward to navigate.
  • Suits businesses of all sizes, from the free CRM to enterprise CRM and data tools.
  • Agentic AI does a lot of the heavy work.

HubSpot Cons

  • It takes time to learn the platform once you start building complex workflows and reports.
  • Pricing rises sharply once you get beyond the SMB tiers.

HubSpot Starter costs $20 per user per month with 1,000 marketing contacts and 500 credits. New EMEA customers are on HubSpot’s newer seats-and-credits pricing model, where Starter begins at €20 per Core Seat per month and includes 5,000 credits. HubSpot Credits pay for usage-based AI features such as the Customer Agent, Prospecting Agent, AI data enrichment, smart properties, and AI actions inside workflows.

HubSpot’s free CRM includes basic email marketing, sales pipeline, contact management, and support ticketing tools.

GetResponse – Best Brevo Alternative for Lead Generation and Nurturing

GetResponse conversion funnels

GetResponse has been around since 1998, making it one of the longest-running email marketing platforms. It started with email, but now it also has automation, landing pages, webinars, funnels, ecommerce and CRM tools. Like Brevo, it has grown into a broader marketing platform for small and mid-sized businesses.

Features that make GetResponse a good Brevo alternative:

  • Multichannel campaigns and marketing automation
  • Conversion funnels
  • 200+ form and landing page templates
  • Website builder
  • Webinars, courses and paid newsletters

Each GetResponse plan suits a different audience and a different set of use cases. The Starter plan is for basic email marketing. You get 150 email templates, an AI content generator, and unlimited landing pages and forms. The Marketing plan unlocks unlimited automations, funnels, ecommerce integrations and features. The Creator plan is all about monetizing knowledge. You can build websites, webinars, courses, and premium newsletters. And get paid for selling subscriptions.

GetResponse gives you more tools than Brevo for turning new visitors into leads and then moving them towards a purchase. It has 200+ landing page and form templates, plus conversion funnels that connect forms directly to lead magnets, nurturing sequences, discounts, and sales pages. You can build the whole path from signup to sale instead of linking separate pages and campaigns manually.

GetResponse suits a different audience than Brevo. Its creator tools make more sense for coaches, educators, and other businesses selling directly to their audience. The bigger difference is what happens after someone becomes a lead. GetResponse is built to move them towards a purchase with marketing automation. Brevo leans more heavily on its CRM and pipelines. It’s a better fit when a sales team takes over and closes the deal.

GetResponse beats Brevo on ecommerce features. It has 33 ecommerce and payment platform integrations. They include the same big names as Brevo, like Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce. But also some smaller platforms. It uses product catalogue and customer data to add product recommendations to campaigns. And you can build discount codes in funnels that sync directly with your store’s checkout. Many customers wish Brevo had these ecommerce-specific tools.

GetResponse Pros

  • Plans for different needs, from simple email campaigns to ecommerce, funnels, and creator monetization.
  • Helps creators make money from webinars, courses, and newsletter subscriptions.
  • Conversion funnels create a direct path from marketing campaigns to sales.
  • Strong ecommerce integrations. And specialized features like discount codes and product recommendations.

GetResponse Cons

  • Doesn’t have a CRM. GetResponse manages contacts well, with tagging, scoring, and segmentation, but doesn’t include sales pipelines or deal tracking.
  • The choice of email, landing page, and form templates is good. But some of the designs could do with a refresh.

GetResponse’s free plan includes basic tools, 500 contacts, and 2,500 monthly emails. The Starter plan costs $13.30 a month paid annually for 1,000 contacts and 1 custom automation. You get unlimited emails on all paid plans.

AWeber – Best Brevo Alternative for Easy Email Design

AWeber AI newsletter builder

AWeber is a straightforward email service provider for small businesses. It’s been around for a long time and was one of the first email marketing services launched in the 90s. Unlike most rivals from that era, it hasn’t moved far beyond email marketing. Its focus remains on designing good-looking campaign emails and newsletters, automating sending, and growing lists.

Features that make AWeber a good Brevo alternative:

  • 700+ email templates
  • Straightforward drag-and-drop email builder
  • AI-powered content creation and design tools
  • Canva integration for image editing and graphics
  • 750+ third-party integrations.

AWeber gives you considerably more starting points for email design than Brevo, with 700+ customizable templates. The drag-and-drop editor is intuitive. It also includes Smart Designer for creating branded templates from your website, a Canva integration, and an AI newsletter assistant.

Another big attraction is how beginner-friendly it is. It doesn’t duck email marketing mainstays like automation and personalization. You can track user actions to trigger automated messages based on behaviour. And it turns tracking data into tags you can use for segmentation and dynamic content. These go beyond the basic automation tools. But AWeber presents them in a simple way. And if you need help, it has 24/7 live chat support and an international telephone help desk. Few rivals in the same price bracket have such responsive customer support.

Choose AWeber over Brevo if you mainly want a simple email marketing tool for newsletters and campaigns. Brevo builds on email marketing with CRM, transactional email, and customer loyalty tools. It also gives you multichannel messaging. If email is all you need, AWeber gives you more design choice without adding Brevo’s CRM, transactional email, loyalty, and multichannel features.

AWeber puts a lot of emphasis on deliverability. It runs its own email delivery infrastructure and monitors sender activity and reputation around the clock, removing accounts with suspicious sending patterns.

AWeber Pros

  • Very easy to use and beginner-friendly.
  • 700+ email templates.
  • Great email building and design tools, including smart branding and AI content creation.
  • Strong customer support, including phone support on paid plans.

AWeber Cons

  • Automation feels restrictive, with only a few templates and limited customization.
  • Some parts of the interface and template library feel dated.

AWeber’s free plan has 500 subscribers, 3,000 emails, email templates and design tools, signup forms, 1 landing page, 1 automation, integrations, and AWeber’s AI writing assistant. Paid plans start at $12.50 a month for 500 subscribers and 5,000 monthly emails.

Brevo Alternatives – Honorable Mentions

The 7 platforms above ranked highest in our testing. A few others came close, usually because they have niche features that suit a specific type of user:

  • Kit is worth considering for creators who want email and monetization in the same platform. You can sell newsletter subscriptions, courses, and downloads, while its creator network helps newsletters exchange referrals. Read our full Kit review.
  • Mailjet fits teams that need marketing and transactional email together. Its API handles account alerts, confirmations, and receipts, while collaboration features let several people work on campaigns. Read our full Mailjet review.
  • Benchmark Email is a simpler choice for basic campaigns. It has a drag-and-drop editor, AI content tools, forms, and segmentation, but no marketing automation. Read our full Benchmark Email review.
  • Klaviyo is an ecommerce marketing platform. It’s especially popular with Shopify users, with special features like customer reviews. It’s easy to use, with dozens of templates for campaigns, automations, landing pages, and forms. But it costs more than a lot of rivals. Read our full Klaviyo review.
  • Constant Contact is worth mentioning mainly for its event marketing tools. You can schedule and promote events, sell tickets, and manage social ads and posts. That makes it distinctive, even if it didn’t rank highly enough in our testing to make the main list. Find the best Constant Contact alternatives here.
  • Mailchimp remains one of the biggest names in email marketing. It includes automation, analytics, website building, content tools, and social campaign features. We wouldn’t rank it among the best Brevo alternatives overall, but it may still come up in comparisons because of its scale. Check out our review of the best Mailchimp alternatives.

Free Brevo Alternatives

Brevo’s free plan is difficult to match because it has 300 daily emails with storage for 100,000 contacts, automation, personalization, SMS, and basic sales pipelines. But a few free alternatives are better for specific use cases.

  • HubSpot: The best free Brevo alternative. HubSpot’s generous free plan includes a full CRM with email marketing, sales pipelines, contact management, and support ticketing tools. It’s free for 2 users and 1,000 contacts.
  • MailerLite: The free plan has 250 contacts and 2,500 emails per month for 2 users. You can build automated campaigns, landing pages, and websites, and sell digital products.
  • Omnisend: Free access to all core features makes Omnisend great for small ecommerce businesses. Its free plan includes 500 emails and 250 contacts.
  • GetResponse: Gives you basic email campaign and lead generation tools for free. Includes 500 contacts, 2,500 monthly emails, and 1 landing page.

Check out our comparison of free and cheap email marketing tools for more detailed reviews.

What are the best Brevo alternatives?

Let’s finish with a summary of my top picks for different use cases:

If you mainly want email marketing, MailerLite is the simpler alternative. Moosend gives you more automation and ecommerce functionality for the money.

Choose ActiveCampaign when Brevo’s automation starts limiting your customer journeys. Its behavioural tracking, CRM actions, lead scoring, and more flexible workflows make it better suited to complex lifecycle marketing.

Choose HubSpot when CRM is the priority. It gives sales and marketing teams much more room to work from the same customer data, although costs rise considerably as you move into the more advanced tiers.

Omnisend is my first choice for ecommerce. Its product blocks, recommendations, discount codes, and store-driven automations are built around getting products into campaigns and customers through checkout.

For creators, GetResponse has stronger tools for building and selling webinars, courses, and paid newsletters. MailerLite is the simpler alternative for paid newsletters, digital downloads, and coaching.

Whichever platform you choose, match it to where your email marketing efforts are heading rather than paying for features you won’t use.

Brevo Alternatives FAQ

What is better than Brevo?

The best email marketing platform depends on what you need Brevo to do better. If you want a simple, affordable email marketing platform, go for MailerLite. AWeber has more templates and better design tools. Moosend has better automation, segmentation, and ecommerce tools.

ActiveCampaign is the best alternative to Brevo if you want better automation. HubSpot is a class above if you’re looking for a CRM. If you run an online store, Omnisend specializes in ecommerce marketing. For creators, GetResponse lets you build and sell newsletter subscriptions, webinars, and courses. Its funnels are ideal for converting new leads into paying customers quickly.

Which is better, Brevo or MailerLite?

MailerLite is better if you mainly want affordable, easy-to-use email marketing with creator tools for selling newsletters and digital products. Brevo is better if you need CRM features and multi channel automation for email, SMS, WhatsApp, and web push.

Is Brevo better than Mailchimp?

Brevo, formerly Sendinblue, is the better choice for most SMBs, especially if you want affordable multi channel marketing, transactional email, and CRM tools. Its pricing also works well for larger contact lists with moderate sending volumes. Mailchimp has strong design, automation, and analytics features. But we don’t think its higher costs and broader feature set make it a better choice than Brevo for most businesses.
