SmartFocus began life as Emailvision in 1999 with its email product Campaign Commander. In 2006, it launched Smart Segmentation and triggered messaging. Over the following years, the company developed its social, data, insight, personalisation, mobile, context, content and algorithm offerings.
The company was rebranded in 2013 following an acquisition two years previously. SmartFocus launched The Message Cloud at the start of 2015 – the company’s digital marketing platform, encompassing all of its products
