Hi, if you came to this page looking for “Bronto alternatives” the reason isn’t you are considering them in a software selection. Nope, that boat has sailed.
The reason is that you somehow remembered the Bronto platform… and now somehow you are made responsible for finding a new ESP / marketing system to replace it.
What happened to Netsuite Bronto?
This week Oracle announced that the Bronto Marketing Platform has been assigned End of Live status. The last date of service will be May 31, 2022. This was all done via this announcement email. Some of the Bronto clients I have talked to were indeed shocked. And found it to be quite cold, and rude.
Oracle offered to “migrate your marketing automation and resources to the Oracle Customer Experience Cloud” to “create an overall superior customer experience.”
With “Oracle Customer Experience Cloud” they mean “Responsys”.
But it’s pretty simple: Nobody should move to Responsys without at minimum looking around first 😮 or shorter, like Dan Hare said:

Starting the year thinking plans were made and budgeting taken care of, senders on Bronto are forced to change their plans.
Retailers and eCommerce senders in particular – the timeline allows for really only 2 short windows for evaluation and migration. There is holiday peak, vacations, all of that layered in the timeline.
Marketers really just want to get on with the normal day-to-day work.
They dont have time to start selection from zero. Or run the risk of not doing it correctly / have problems with implemetation. 👀
Selection can be a headache for a typical marketer. I know, I have guided many together with brands. If you haven’t been doing it. It is a big SUMO (SUnday worry, for MOnday work).
NB: I find it particular painful for some of the partner network that just 2 weeks before end of life was actively promoting the Netsuite-Bronto as “ideal combo for eCommerce request the demo”. 👀
There are over 500 domains / senders still actively using Bronto, all now looking for Bronto alternatives.
And that is just looking in my personal send monitoring tool.
So what can I / we do to make this a bit better for you as a Bronto sender?
