This week the company known as Emailvision announced her new name. One we thought was lost; SmartFocus.
Brad Wilson the CEO of SmartFocus (in picture) noted in the press release: “…the name Emailvision no longer reflects the wide range of ways that we help our customers”. Brad wilson took over the role as CEO last February from the founder of the French company Nick Hey.
About a year ago Emailvision holdings acquired PredictiveIntent, a company that allows marketers to do behavioural targeting and utilize predictive analytics mainly creating dynamic websites.
SmartFocus was the name of an ESP that was acquired by Emailvision in 2011. The name was dorment, but not lost as it turns out. Just a week ago Steve Klin, director of BlueVenn announced that it had aquired some of the original SmartFocus assets including the website, international business and operating entities of the company. The SmartANALYSER product that will continue under the name of blueANALYSER, product updates are expected in the new year.
The change also appears the end for the name of the Campaign Commander product suite. The new SmartFocus products include: SmartFocus Email, SmartFocus Mobile, SmartFocus Social, SmartFocus Sites, SmartFocus Advisor, and SmartFocus Analytics.
The new branding comes with a video which is actually quite well done.
